Hope Caroline

My Hope is in the Lord, and my Hope is with the Lord.

The night we found out our second treasure was with her Maker, I dreamed it was a girl.

I woke up last night and couldn't go back to sleep. Through my tears I asked Jesus to hold her close enough that she would be able to hear His heart the same way she heard mine.

It was as if He whispered, "Have Hope Lis, I have Hope".

Today our hope remains in the Lord that knew all of this long before we did.

Hope Caroline Graeser, you are a loved, precious and perfect treasure. The only thing softens the blow of losing you is knowing that you are in the arms of the Father and will never have to live in this evil, sinful and dark world. You were created for Heaven. Your heart will never be broken, sad or in pain. You will only know joy and rejoicing with the Risen King all the days of your life.

We are rejoicing with you today and can't wait to be with you again! Until then, we will do our best to embrace and walk through these days knowing the Lord will be faithful to carry us through. We are smiling as we think about you and all that eternity holds.

"You don't have a soul. You are a soul. You have a body" -C.S Lewis

  4. I hope our sweet ones meet in heaven. My Matthew Robert weighed just about a pound in his frail little body. He is in heaven with his two siblings as well.
Our Grace, Sadie Grace that is, has risen us out of the ashes. God sent his grace to us in the form of this miracle girl.
The loss of my children is meaningful, part of my story. While it was hard, painful, and at times unbelievable God and his provision have gripped us. I know God's love, his grace, and his care for me. Sharing my journey and my story has become a great part of my testimony and has helped many others.
Love will carry you sweet Mama. God's love, motherly love, and a love to help others less grounded move through these kind of experiences someday. Until then know that God is with you and Hope Caroline is in the arms of Jesus. She artrived into the place for which she was created. To the roar of the crowds of all those who love her and want her until you come for her.

  5. Lis, thank you for sharing through your pain the joy of Heaven's embrace and hope. Such is the message of Christmas everyday. May our tender Savior be with you, sweetly and gently whispering, "Hope, hope, hope," until you share eternity with all the saints who have gone before, including your littlest one.

  6. I love the name, so beautiful. When we lost our little one, we named her as well. I look forward to meeting her one day in heaven. I don't understand why miscarriages happen, because God is the author of life, but what is helping me even now is praying that God will use everything for his glory, even the things which we don't understand. I want to recommend a book that has helped me, although you may have already read it. I Will Carry You, by Angie Smith, has been instrumental in understanding where God is when a miscarriage happens.
God bless you, Lis. Your testimony is helping many women who are going through this. Thank you for being so willing to share God's love in your life.
